Hickory Flat Excellence
Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Coach Phillips! He has dedicated his life to educating young minds through academics and through promoting health and fitness!
Mrs. Hinton won the Bright Ideas Shaping Shoals Grant worth over $2,300! This grant will be used to fund different STEM programs for Hickory Flat!
Congratulations to all of our Spelling Bee participants! They did PHENOMENAL, and after over 20 rounds we had our winners! 1st place - Marian Goode (Mr. Fleuranvil's 3rd Grade Class) & 2nd place - Francesco Rumbo-Tercero (Ms. Davis' 5th Grade Class)
We are so proud of our HFE Dance Team representing the Wildcats in so many different events! They brought some Holiday Cheer at the McDonough Christmas Parade!
At Hickory Flat, we use Second Step to provide our students with skills to help manage their emotions, build positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
At Hickory Flat Elementary, we offer a variety of clubs and organizations to motivate, inspire, and engage our Wildcats. Students can join different types of clubs or organizations including Dance, Chorus & Drama, Reading Bowl, Robotics, Jr. Beta Club, and Art. There is something for everyone!
